- Profile Photos: Uploaded images used solely to render your profile to prospective matches.
- Approximate Geolocation: Used to compute distance (e.g., "3 km away") without ever exposing your exact street address.
- Chat Transcripts: Messages are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and stored with strict PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) accessible only to conversation participants.
3. How Your Data is Used
We process your data strictly to:
- Match you with compatible profiles based on distance and shared vibes.
- Verify genuine identity via 3-second biometric liveness tests (biometric hashes are discarded immediately upon verification).
- Prevent automated bots, harassment, and financial fraud.
4. Your Rights & 1-Click Data Erasure
In full compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you possess:
- The Right to Correction: Update or modify your photos, bio, and preferences anytime in profile settings.
- The Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): When you delete your account, all photos, match records, and messages are permanently purged from active production databases within 24 hours.
